An independent garage in Almere

FlexAPK is an independent garage for all makes, not a dealer or a chain. Our workshop is on the Gooisekant business park, close to the A6, so it's easy to reach from Almere Stad, Almere Buiten, Almere Haven and Almere Poort. You can park in front of the workshop.

Whether you've just moved to the Netherlands or have lived here for years: you can ask your questions in English and we'll explain what your car needs in plain language.

Do you really speak English?
Yes. Our team speaks Dutch and English. You can talk to us in English at the front desk, on the phone and on WhatsApp, during our normal opening hours.
What is an APK and do I need an appointment?
The APK is the mandatory periodic inspection for cars in the Netherlands, comparable to the MOT in the UK. FlexAPK is an RDW-recognised APK station. You're welcome without an appointment during opening hours, or you can agree on a time with us. An APK without repairs takes about an hour and you can wait for it.
Can I wait while you work on my car?
For an APK, a tyre change or an air conditioning check you can usually wait. For servicing or repairs we agree beforehand, or when you drop off the car, when it will be ready.
Do you work on automatic cars?
Yes. We carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on cars with a manual or an automatic gearbox, of all makes.
Will I know the price beforehand?
Yes. We tell you what the work involves and what it costs before we start. If we find something else during the work, we contact you first and only carry it out with your OK.
How can I pay?
You can pay by debit card at our garage.
Can you explain the quote and invoice in English?
Yes. We explain the work, the quote and the invoice to you in English. The documents themselves come from our regular system and are not automatically translated.
Can I book online?
Yes. Enter your licence plate at the top of this page or book your appointment online. You choose your services, see the price for your car and pick a preferred date and time, all in English. We then put it in our schedule and confirm it. The final confirmation email comes from our planning system and is in Dutch. With a foreign licence plate you can enter your car manually, or simply send us a WhatsApp or call us.
